48 Hour EEG

Yesterday, Hayden was admitted to the hospital for a 48 hour EEG to see if we could capture any of those "episodes" he's been having. Of course, nothing so far. My cousin is a nurse at the hospital and was ending her overnight shift as we were checking in, so she was sweet enough to spend some time with us while we were waiting to be taken to the 6th floor to get hooked up before going to Hayden's room. Daddy came with us and stayed as long as he could before he had to get to work. Before long, we were upstairs with our EEG ladies! They are always so excited to see Hayden.

One of my nieces was taking care of Nicholas for us that day. She's been taking care of him a couple of days a week for us so Tony could work a seasonal job during the day. He loves her and she is excellent with him. Excellent child care is such a wonderful gift.

My mom is off work recovering from carpal tunnel surgery, so she is spending her days hanging out with us. Good thing she is. It takes two of us to keep little man's hands away from his EEG leads. It's exhausting! He is a very sneaky little boy. Besides visits from daddy and Nicholas, my dad, one of my friends and my aunt have all stopped by for a visit.

It's late and I am tired (not much sleep last night), so I am going to try to get some sleep now. Hopefully, this post makes sense. I'm too tired to read it to find out : )
